As a therapist working with individuals, couples, and families, I help clients. and couples develop sight into, and shed beliefs stemming from repetitive emotional and relational patterns rooted in past experiences and trauma. I work with clients wh self-esteem, boundaries, and unhealthy communication. Through empathy, acceptance, and insight, I create a safe space for self-awareness and improve what works, reduce what doesn't, and modulate between accepting that two things can be true. Couples working through infidelity, communication issues, and intimacy are welcomed, as well as parents/caregivers seeking parenting skills.
There isn't a one size fits all approach to resolving trauma, developing boundaries, improving the health of relationships, and growing a positive self image. As such, I specialize in a variety of modalities and take a unique approach to each couple or individual. I use theories including: Emotion Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, General Systems, and IFS.
I provide emphasis on affirming all gender identities and expressions, and am accepting of all sexual orientations, spiritual beliefs. I strive to be racially and culturally responsive.
