About
1/11/2023 - I am not accepting any new clients at this time, thanks. Life can be challenging sometimes. Helping clients get to a better path or place in life is my goal. With over 20 years as a mental health therapist, I work with clients to help them cope with and find working strategies to deal with struggles and challenges. My therapy style is interpersonal, goal-directed and strengths-based.
I work with individuals who have anxiety, depression, grief and difficult life changes. I am LBGTQ+ fully-affirming and positively work with lgbtq+ teen and adult clients and their families. I complete bariatric surgery evaluations, and see clients who desire to prepare for surgery and accompanied life change.
Insurances I take for individuals are CareFirst, BCBS, Johns Hopkins EHP, Cigna/Evernorth, Medicare, and private pay/out-of-network. I take clients on a space available basis. Email is the easiest way to reach me. Thanks, Shelley.
