I have had the privilege of working with individuals of many ages and backgrounds. I have provided therapy to individuals, families, and couples in an outpatient setting. I have worked with children and teenagers in the school and home setting, as well as engaged their families in the therapy process. I have experience working with children who have been through trauma, loss, bullying, and family separation. I have also worked with adults who are navigating life changes, relationship issues, trauma, and grief. I have experience working with individuals who have anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and more.
My therapy style is primarily person-centered. I believe in the importance of the client-counselor relationship, and I maintain a space of empathy, understanding, and kindness. I also utilize dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in sessions. I incorporate play therapy and art therapy in sessions with children.
My clients can expect to be met with kindness, patience, trust, and honesty in therapy sessions. You will be seen and heard, not judged. Thank you for your time and I hope to get the chance to work with you!
