I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, and relationship difficulties in adolescents, and adults. Therapy can feel daunting to some and my goal is to create a safe, comforting and inviting therapeutic space for each of my clients. I see my role as a facilitator to uncover the root of problems with the goal of living a more fulfilling life. I provide my clients the space to better understand themselves, gain new perspectives and greater insights resulting in better choices and improved quality of life.
I developed a niche for working with those emerging into adulthood and dealing with a variety of challenging transitional periods in life. I have experience working with adults finding it difficult to manage day to day commitments, asserting needs and/or setting boundaries with others, connecting socially and becoming motivated to accomplish goals.
My approach clarifies and reduces psychological problems by gaining greater insight into thoughts, feelings and actions that are often outside of one's awareness. As a result my clients experience improved relationships, a more satisfying career, and in general, greater stability in life.
