I am Shelby Evans, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Michigan with over 6 years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked with teens, adults, and seniors experiencing severe mental illness. I specialize in supporting individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), substance use, grief/loss, stress management, mood disorders, relationship/family issues, major life transitions, and life challenges. I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work at Wayne State University, with a concentration in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
I use a variety of treatment approaches tailored to each individual, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy, person-centered therapy (PCT), mindfulness, culturally sensitive therapy, and motivational interviewing.
