Welcome to FTS Counseling and Consulting PLLC. Congratulations on taking the first step towards starting therapy.
I enjoy supporting clients who are motivated to improve their quality of life, gain a deeper understanding of themselves, and meet their goals. In sessions I use empathy, psycho education, humor, and transparency. My style is flexible based on your needs and learning style. I have clients who prefer to leave with to-dos and others who prefer less structure.
I have a great deal of experience helping people who struggle with depression and anxiety related issues. Most of my career was in hospital settings- both medical and psychiatric. I bring a passion for working with people struggling with new or complex medical issues. Including parents of children with significant medical and mental health needs.
Starting or re-starting therapy can be hard. Committing time to regularly take care of you, is essential for everyone, however that looks. I offer "real life" availability outside of regular work hours (evening and weekends), and the convenience of telehealth.
