My approach is built on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT); addressing three major areas: emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal skills. Through processing, changing thinking patterns, and developing skills, we achieve a new level of stability and connection. I know it works-I have been in your shoes as a client and benefited greatly.
I work with a variety of clients with complicated issues and their mental health concerns (not limited to): Anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+, faith crises, mood, relationship problems, loneliness, trauma and substance use problems through individual and couples’ therapy. I firmly believe that we are not just deserving of joy but entitled to it as human beings.
