Do you ever feel out of control? Do you find it hard to trust yourself? I understand that feeling like this can make it hard to get through your day, and that’s why I am here to help you break free from those feelings. I am an LGBTQIA+ ally and aim to create a safe and supportive space for all my clients to express themselves freely. I have experience working with young adults (18-35) with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, trauma, sexual abuse, suicidal ideations, life transitions, identity issues, grief, and relationship issues. I am warm, collaborative, and open-minded and work to help you feel heard.
I take a strengths-based, person-centered approach to counseling and incorporate elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Inner Child work. However, the theoretical approach I use differs from client to client based on their issues and what will be most beneficial for them.
I know that you are the expert on yourself which is why I am not here to tell you what to do. I am here to help guide you along your journey to healing and wellness.
