About
My overall objective is to provide a safe, nurturing environment for individuals, couples and families to address personal challenges. For those engaging in the therapeutic process, the journey requires courage and commitment to personal growth. My professional experience prepares for me to work in a culturally competent framework with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and life experiences. For individuals concerned with spiritual growth, I provide a Christian framework for assessing personal development. My expertise enables me to work effectively with all ages from early childhood through adolescence, young adulthood, middle adulthood and the elderly season.
I use a variety of therapeutic approaches including but not limited to a cognitive behavioral approach. I work with vulnerable populations such as children and youth who are at risk for entering the juvenile justice system and alternative educational environments.
My expertise enables me to work effectively with special populations such as student-athletes, young adults within college or the workforce and blended families.
