I offer affordable, quality therapy for those yearning to identify and change dysfunctional thinking, behavior, and emotional responses. Life is stressful enough, that the additional financial cost of therapy should not increase that stress. I offer a sliding scale to those that actively want to change their lives. My training uses a Psychodynamic approach (self awareness of childhood conditioning), EMDR, CBT, and a strength based focus. This means we work collaboratively, in order to actively change negative thought processes, into patterns that elevate your life rather than hinder your true potential. office locations: MV& Novato.

I work on providing a warm, non-judgmental therapeutic environment. Whether you wrestle with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, loss of a loved one, relationship challenges or you just feel overwhelmed with life in general, we will work together in a mindful way to overcome those obstacles and reach your goals.

I received both my Bachelor's degree (Psychology), and Master's degree (MSW), from CAL Berkeley. I have worked at UCSF at the AIDS Health Project in psychotherapy with triply diagnosed patients and at Marin General Hospital in the In-patient, and Outpatient wards. I also am a EMDR therapist, conducting psychotherapy for the last 13 years in private practice.

In understanding what happened to you, we examine your history. You also cannot separate the mind from the body. Somatic therapy is gaining traction in the therapeutic profession. Many times, we can process trauma through bi-lateral stimulation (EMDR..a proven neurological based intervention) and Critical Incident Desensitization (CID) which can help us process acute trauma in real time as well.
