Are you looking for a local therapist who specializes in children? Is your child acting out, unfocused, anxious or aggressive? Do they currently have an IEP at school? If so, I can help. Using a combination of solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioral assessment, play therapy and family therapy, I work with children who are experiencing severe challenges in their home and school settings. Working together, I help them to develop new ways to focus their energies, calm their minds, and experience success once again.
If your child is having trouble managing their behavior or emotions, you're worried and just need a professional to "take a look" give me a call. I'll give you a free phone consultation, then we'll decide if therapy is the right fit for your child. Each session after will be specially tailored to fit their unique needs and achieve measurable results.
I am available for email check-ins between sessions if significant updates occur that need to be communicated. As well, I'm happy to speak with your child's teacher, school counselor or psychiatrist, at your request, to gain an understanding of behavior that is occurring at or outside of school.
