Things that may have felt difficult prior to the pandemic carry a very different load now, as we learn to navigate a post-pandemic life. While the idea of therapy may have felt radical before, it can now offer us a roadmap to developing greater internal strength to steer through the uncertainty. It is deep within our unconscious that we meet our true selves and can then begin the profound work of developing mechanisms for the lives we are seeking. I view it as a great privilege to bear witness to the strength that emerges from the courage of confronting the vulnerability of our own psychology.
I work with a person-centered and strength-based lens. I bring a trauma-focused care approach to my practice and an informed cross-cultural understanding of complex family structures & diverse communities. My clinical focus lies in the areas of traumatic life events, grief, loss & bereavement, cross-cultural family conflict & gender transition.
It can feel impossible to navigate through your days with clarity and a meaningful sense of fulfillment when your emotional pain begins to feel palpable. This is your internal self calling out for self-care. I am deeply committed to creating a safe space for you to piece together your life narrative and develop deeper insight into your own unconscious self.
