Fears, anxiety, and depression can be debilitating. I have the ability to listen warmly and compassionately to what you're saying even if you are feeling jumbled or confused. I create a safe space for you to be able to vent. Often having a person listen with understanding of what you might be experiencing can ease your discomfort. I can offer gentle guidance if you are at a crossroad, a turning point or are feeling challenged by others in your life. Relationships are the most important things in our lives, yet often, the most difficult. Better communication skills can help.
I use my training in Imago Relationships, Gestalt, Voice Dialogue, Dance/Movement, and Group Work, as well as creative processes in therapy. I have taught on the faculties of Georgetown University and Montgomery College. My book, ENGENDERING CREATIVITY, includes exercises which activate the imagination and spontaneity.
I have over 30 years of working with individuals, couples, families and groups. I help you learn the communication skills to enhance your connections to partners, friends, colleagues or family members.

Groups
Group for women...has three openings
Small, on-going experiential group.using interactive, interpersonal communication. Expressive, Gestalt and Existential Therapies, as well as creative processes are interwoven into the group's regular sharing. You may work on personal problems and different life issues, including relationships with family, friends, spouses and colleagues. You may want to work on deepening connections and intimacy using the safe and supportive atmosphere of the group.
