About
We all face stressful life events that prevent us from achieving what we want most in life. My passion as your counselor is to help you through these times. Working together with strengths you already have, the counseling process provides insights, information, strategies and techniques to move you toward achieving personal goals and change. Married now over 30 years, my passion is working with couples to create a secure emotional bond, intimacy and healing. Through a collaborative approach, I aim to foster emotional balance and a sense of competence as couples struggle with issues such as parenting, communication, and infidelity.
I also have experience in helping individuals, through struggles with life transitions, identity, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. Helping children and adolescents make sense of their feelings when faced with issues such as the loss of a loved one, high conflict divorce, abuse, or other stressful life events and tragedies is another passion of mine.
I practice an integrative counseling approach to help clients identify how early life experiences and thoughts, feelings, and behaviors affect their relationships today. It's a blessing and an honor to be part of a process where, ultimately, through the power of faith, hope, healing and growth are possible even when pain and frustration exist.
