Dr. Shayan Rad, Psy. D is a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 10 Years of experience specializing in the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, issues with adjustment, life transitions, self-esteem, relationship-issues, sleep disorders (insomnia), stress management, irritability, and anger management. Shayan has extensive experience providing psychotherapy for adults of all ages in English and Persian (Farsi) through the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
CBT is an effective, evidenced based and scientifically validated approach to therapy that typically leads to significant and tangible results in a client's life within several months instead of several years.
Shayan takes a problem solving approach to treatment that involves helping clients implement new skills to solve different problems in life while treating each client with empathy, respect, and as a unique individual.
