Hello! I am an LCSW in in central Kentucky. I work with clients navigating trauma, PTSD, grief, depression, and anxiety. Life can feel heavier than it should at times, and many people feel like it is "just me", when in reality it is quite normal to feel this way. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling emotionally exhausted, stuck in survival mode, or disconnected from the parts of themselves that once felt steady and hopeful. My style is empowering, solution-oriented, and yes - sometimes a little humorous.
Therapy can be meaningful without feeling overwhelmed. Using clinical tools like Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Solution Focused, and strength-based approaches. Most of these models see improvement in a session or two, and often clients are ready to be discharged after 6-8 sessions. We will focus on your goals, on your time, and at your pace.
I enjoy spending time rock hunting, wildlife photography, kayaking, and spending time with my family. These are all activities that effectively helped me process my childhood and combat trauma.
