Do you have difficulty with feeling depressed, hopeless, or anxious? Do you and your partner have conflict, or do you lack emotional connection or intimacy together? Are there challenges within your family? I offer individual, couples and family therapy. I bring 26 years of experience working with family conflict and also couple issues such as communication, sexuality, and infidelity. I treat anxiety, OCD, depression, grief/loss. I bring experience with challenges connected to sexual orientation, a family member coming out, and same-gender relationships, CNM couples, queer and non-trad families, and transgender individuals.
My treatment approach is client-led and builds on strengths. My process is to team with you, identify which aspects of your life you would like to resolve, and implement change. I draw on cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman. I offer sex therapy for various challenges and to enhance sexual practice and satisfaction.
The practice includes male and female practitioners with complementary training and life experience. We accept Visa, MC, Discover, and Amex and are in-network for Anthem BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, United Behavioral, Point32Health Harvard Pilgrim and Tufts, and others. Out-of-network is often an option.
