Shawn is a Master's level Clinical Mental Health Therapist/Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a passion to help individuals live their best lives. You and I will work together to identify challenges, maladaptive thoughts & behaviors, and mental health symptoms such as anxiety and depression. We will collaborate to develop a plan to improve symptoms and overcome the barriers that keep you from living life to the fullest! If you've not had therapy in the past, please know that the first session is much different than subsequent sessions.
During your first appointment, we will be discussing the issues that led to you reaching out. I commend you for reaching out, as that is often the hardest part. We will also be establishing goals for treatment. What do you hope to get out of our time working together?
