Much of my work focuses on trauma and the ways painful experiences continue to affect us long after they are over. I am certified in EMDR through the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) and participate in consultation with an EMDR Certified Consultant. Together, we'll work to understand the survival strategies that once helped you make it through.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of healing. My first priority is creating a space where you feel safe, heard, and believed. Everything we do is based on your consent. And when there are elephants in the room, I'll address them with honesty, curiosity, and clear, predictable communication.
