About
Life can throw us curveballs, stress arises, changes and adjustments occur, and feelings of sadness, self-questioning and anxiety can seep in. People hope to eliminate, decrease or manage these feelings and symptoms to find happiness and a sense of wholeness in their day to day life. Through counseling, people can learn to heal, develop healthy coping skills, find belonging, reframe thoughts, increase positivity, find positive outlets and understand their emotions better.
I conduct individual and family sessions for adults, children (starting at age 6) and teens. I am a certified grief counselor and also specialize in: adjustment difficulties, family conflict, parenting difficulties, self-esteem and confidence, anxiety and stress, depressive disorders, trauma, behavioral problems, abuse and relationship problems.
"People start to heal the moment they feel heard." My goal is to make challenging times easier. I utilize a client-centered approach, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and exposure techniques. With my empathetic, non-judgmental and compassionate nature I can help you feel heard again.
