At times there are situations or circumstances out of our control that are often difficult to manage or process on our own. Overcoming these challenges can feel overwhelming at times but, it does not have to be. No one should have to do the hard work on their own! As a Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist, I strive to be that person for anyone needing to conquer these difficulties. I find some much value in being present with each individual I work with and specializing the care tailored to each.
For children and adolescents, I specialize in treatment modalities including child centered and directive play therapy, theraplay and nurture and play. For those of all ages, I utilize progressive counting to process and heal from trauma. For those seeking treatment for behavioral and mood disorders various treatment styles are utilized.
Reaching out is the first step to promote growth and healing which is often the scariest part!
