I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the states of Iowa, Minnesota & Wisconsin. I have over 9 years of experience in the field of Social Work & Brain Health. My therapeutic lens utilizes culturally aware and evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, & Internal Family Systems Therapy.
Along with evidence-based treatment models, I use a brain health approach instead of Mental Health or Mental Illness. Brain Health integrates what you eat & drink, how much you exercise, how well you sleep, how you socialize, and how you manage stress. Your Brain Health needs to be addressed with the same seriousness as any other physical disease.
