Have you lost your footing? I am a Certified EMDR Therapist specializing in traumatic grief counseling and helping people find their center after traumatic events. Sudden losses or traumatic events can throw you off balance. Unattended losses and past traumas can leave you feeling disconnected from the people you love. I use EMDR therapy and other therapeutic modalities to help people make sense of what's happened so they can live more joyfully in the present.
I am a Certified EMDR therapist and EMDR Consultant. EMDR is one of two treatments recommended by the World Health Organization for reducing the negative effects of psychological trauma. II am also fully trained to incorporate the shame and vulnerability research of Dr. Brené Brown into therapy. I am comfortable working within your spiritual framework.
I provide clinical supervision to pre-licensed clinicians and am the owner of Midtown Counselor, a private practice group. I am approved by the EMDR International Association to provide individual and group professional consultation to trained EMDR Therapists.
