As a licensed clinical psychologist, I work with adults providing both individual and couples therapy, in addition to the military and their family members. I have extensive training in treating anxiety, depression, marital/relationship issues, addiction, eating disorders, grief and loss, and trauma. I also provide therapy for those making stressful life transitions, seeking a more balanced lifestyle, perfectionistic tendencies, self-confidence, and greater self-awareness. Together, we can examine how your thoughts and emotions are impacting your daily life in either helpful or unhelpful ways.
I utilize evidence-based therapies to help people gain insight and mend any residual grief from previous painful events that may be impacting current thoughts, beliefs, and patterns of behavior. I integrate a variety of approaches such as CBT, ACT, psychodynamic, and mindfulness techniques. I strive to help you improve relationships with yourself and others.
My treatment style is individualized and collaborative, while providing a warm, inviting space with the opportunity to self-reflect. I find that both challenge and encouragement helps individuals make optimal changes. I will work with you at your pace, because ultimately the process of therapy is one that is as individualized as you are.
