Announcement icon I am still seeing clients during the current COVID-19 distancing restrictions via Simple Practice Teletherapy.
At one time or another, everyone encounters challenges that drain available resources and leave us feeling overwhelmed. At the very worst, our troubles seem to paralyze, and we struggle to maintain hope of reaching a better place. No matter what challenges you might be facing today, it is my goal to provide unconditional acceptance in a safe, inviting environment where I can authentically connect with you. It is truly my passion to come alongside others, to offer compassionate support, and facilitate discovery of new possibilities, in order to nurture personal and relational wellness.
Although clients come for a variety of reasons, my focus has turned to empowering women as they explore issues of self-esteem, co-dependency, assertiveness, and boundary development. Domestic Violence has arisen as a recurrent theme and I delight in witnessing life changing transformation take place through education and emotional processing.
I bring to the therapeutic relationship a lifetime of rich experience, which has involved my own healing journey. Therapy can lend a new perspective on your situation, help you better utilize existing strengths, discover things that have been contributing to your problem, and put new skills in place as you continue to journey towards a more fulfilling life.

Sharon R Ernst's Groups

Sisters-In-Arms

Did you know that 1 in 4 women, regardless of ethnicity, religion, class or lifestyle will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime? Domestic violence is physical, sexual, psychological, or financial abuse that takes place within an intimate relationship and that forms a pattern of coercive and controlling behavior. This limited sized group is a 12-14-week psycho/educational support group and designed for women who are affected by an abusive partner relationship that has happened in the past, are in the process of transitioning out of an abusive relationship, or are currently experiencing abuse.
