I'm empathetic and kind while also being directive and intentional in our time together.
Some of the techniques I use are EMDR, CBT and I also weave Internal Family Systems, Emotional Focused Therapy and somatic experiencing throughout our counseling time. I counsel from a faith perspective and enjoy working with those that are coming from a Christian worldview. Using nature and the earth for healing often show up as well!
Life is hard! I sometimes see life and our family of origin as a tangled ball of yarn. Sometimes we need help to pull at the strings and untie the knots. I want to bear witness to the hard parts of your life and help shine the light into the dark places.
