While many people seek therapy at times of great difficulty, I believe that therapy can also be a place to build skills and create practices that sustain lifelong happiness and fulfillment. As a transformative life coach and therapist, my goal is to guide you to find your way back to emotional balance, wherever your starting point may be. I am committed to helping you access your inner strength and courage, embrace your process, develop meaningful mutual relationships, and let your authentic human spirit shine.
My approach to therapy is grown from and informed by theories of mindfulness, self-compassion, shame-resilience, neuroplasticity, and mind-body connection. I utilize a holistic wellness model, as well as strengths based and trauma informed counseling methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy.
I am passionate about promoting mental wellness and reducing the social stigma of seeking therapy through warm, humorous, and collaborative partnership. Working together, we can make therapeutic gains from the head to the heart. Options to include my therapy dog, Bodhi, in-office sessions or walk and talk sessions are potentially available.
