As a therapist, my passion is to aid others in aligning the lives they are living with the path of the soul. Depth psychotherapy, IFS/ Parts work, Meditation and Tai Chi instruction, as well as Dream Work and Focusing, can begin to open us up to a more reflective space, developing and actualizing a greater sense of purpose and meaning in life. It may be time to dig a bit deeper in order to satisfy that quest for purpose. Often this search for meaning begs our attention through such symptoms as physical pain, depression, anxiety, anger or a simple but frustrating lethargy with life.
Eclectic in my approach, I utilize such techniques as IFS/Parts work, EMDR, dreamwork, focusing, mindfulness, as well as CBT. My specialties include PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, and/or Spiritual Concerns. This sort of pain can be unbearable, and addressing that pain, exceptionally challenging, but ultimately our courage can be rewarded with a sense of peace.
I love working with people who stand at the crossroads of change. Discovering a deeper sense of self can be both exciting and frightening, and deactivating the fear and anxiety that create obstacles for implementing change is key.
