Announcement icon Due to the current Covid-19 crisis, I am only providing sessions via telehealth, accessible to anyone residing in the state of California.
You don’t have to go through your quarter life crisis (or any crisis) alone… especially during a pandemic! In these unprecedented and uncertain times, you might be constantly worrying about the future or unsure of your place in the world. Maybe you keep comparing yourself to others and struggle with maintaining healthy relationships and setting boundaries at work and at home. Former ways of coping such as traveling and socializing with friends have come to an abrupt halt, and you might be having trouble finding new ways to manage your anxiety, depression, and unresolved trauma.
I specialize in immigrant & BIPOC populations and issues pertaining to: identity, cultural assimilation, differentiating from family, living authentically, coming out, spirituality, boundaries, codependency, and healthy relationships. I incorporate elements of EMDR, CBT, trauma-sensitive yoga, mindfulness, and trauma-focused talk therapy in English & Korean.
Practicing social distancing can be extremely lonely and isolating. But thanks to online therapy, you can still get the help you need and deserve. My goal is to provide a safe and nonjudgemental space to vent, process, and unpack trauma and heal old wounds so that you can unlock your fullest potential and live your best life.

Sharon Kwon's Groups

College Students Coping with Covid-19

For many, college is your first step out into the real world as an adult and outside of your family of origin. For some, it might have even been your first taste of freedom if you grew up in a restrictive household. But now that the pandemic has indefinitely caused most colleges to go remote, you might be feeling disappointed and robbed of what you’ve worked so hard to achieve. Connect with other college students in the same boat. Learn coping skills and how to manage anxiety and uncertainty, grieve together, and support each other in these socially distant times.
