I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)/therapist licensed in Georgia and New York state. Over the past twenty years, I have worked with a diverse group of clients dealing with depression, anxiety, grief, interpersonal issues, parenting challenges, adjustment issues, and attachment-related trauma. I have also supported many people who have experienced sexual trauma, physical abuse, or emotional abuse. I’ve provided therapy for the past seven years as an LCSW.
Before working as a therapist, I worked for six years in family foster care. I lead an evidence-based, behavior modification program that stabilized families in crisis who were considering out-of-home placement for their child due to interpersonal, societal, and environmental stressors.
My therapy style is warm, client-focused, and empathetic. I believe that dignity, compassion, and respect are at the heart of a transformative therapeutic relationship. With the right support, people can achieve their desired outcomes. I recognize that it takes courage to face our reality and to take the steps to connect to a therapist that is a good fit.
