Currently, my practice is FULL. I am unable to accept any new clients. My areas of expertise are working with Troubled Adolescents who have intense emotions and risky behaviors. I am able to connect on their level and see progress quickly. In addition, I value supporting all individuals in regulating their emotions. I specialize in working with the Deaf and hard of hearing. I am skilled in ASL and understand Deaf culture. If you are Deaf or hard of hearing please contact me. I will do my best to get you scheduled quickly or find you an appropriate referral.
My approach to relationships such as the one we are about to embark upon is of a gentle, kind, and respectful nature. I see my role as your therapist as a personal guide for your life journey. This is a "team effort." I may offer suggestions and ask you to consider alternative ways of thinking, but I am not an expert on your life. You are!
I am also a Reiki practitioner and can incorporate energy work into our sessions upon request. My job is to help you become more aware of the choices that you have, increase your ability to make more informed decisions, and empower you to eventually become your own therapist!
