My intention is to provide a safe, supportive environment within the therapeutic relationship. My philosophy is strengths-based and holistic: I believe people have the capacity for resilience, creativity and resourcefulness. My role is to help my clients get to that place of knowing this for themselves so they can move forward in their lives and thrive. I am trained in mindfulness-based-stress reduction, and I am a Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach who has worked with a wide range of people on stress release, weight, exercise and nutrition. I am also a Licensed Clinical Independent Social Worker.
I work with adults 18+. I often use a coaching approach to how I work with clients. In addition, I use mindfulness, body oriented and attachment-oriented therapies to help individuals with grief, life transitions, trauma, depression and anxiety. I am a Certified Anchored Relational Network provider and have completed Level 2 training in Somatic Experiencing
My other specialties include extensive experience working with individuals who are dealing with chronic health conditions, parent counseling, postpartum depression/anxiety, infertility, blended family challenges, relationship and work-related stress, caregiver burnout, and compassion fatigue.
