I am a passionate person who is about connecting with people to help them reach their full potential. I have worked as a volunteer in outreach groups for several years serving underserved women and teens. Upon completing graduate school, I shifted and focused from outreach to counseling. I have counseling experience with adolescents and adults in an outpatient, inpatient, in-home, and prison settings.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) an empirically validated treatment for trauma, to address psychological and physiologic symptoms stemming from adverse life experiences.
Currently I am the only counselor in Las Vegas to implement VR-Mindfulness implementations for children/adolescence in sessions. I am an experience Christian counselor and will provide upon requested and as a Christian, I enjoys utilizing and incorporating a Biblical perspective.
