I specialize in counseling for children (ages 2-12) addressing mental health concerns related to anger, anxiety, depression, grief and posttraumatic stress, emotional dysregulation, self-esteem and identity development, social-emotional skills and strained relationships with peers or family members. I also specialize in coaching, counseling, or consultation for parents and caregivers addressing concerns related to parenting and strained or disrupted relationships among family members.
I utilize a variety of theoretical approaches including Structural Family Therapy, Emotionally Focused Family Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
I am passionate about promoting wellness for the whole family! I work collaboratively to understand the values, strengths, and expertise within the family system, in order to develop solutions that encourage healing, growth, and healthy relationships among family members.
