As a therapist, I have a holistic approach to helping my clients heal. I see individual adults, children aged 13 to 18 years old, and couples. My approach is Eclectic, and I mostly use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Reality Therapy to help you identify and reshape healthy thoughts. In addition, I like to work as a team with my clients, so that we can come up with healthy and effective strategies to overcome challenges in their lives. At times, I will incorporate mindfulness.
My ideal client is one who is ready for therapy, open, and willing to work together to become your best self. My goal is to inspire, motivate, encourage, support, and empower my clients to address any issue that comes up in their lives.
My communication style is warm, calm, supportive, non-judgmental, direct, open, and honest. I will practice active listening during most of the session, but will provide feedback when necessary, and give my clients an opportunity to ask questions. During the session, we will reflect on your experiences and challenges.
