I use action oriented strategies and encourage experiential learning between sessions. I believe this helps clients feel empowered and motivated to move forward with resiIiency and self confidence. I am particularly passionate about helping clients manage life transitions and dealing with the losses and gains that change brings. I offer a women's group, Moving Beyond Transitions, that offers comraderie and support in managing challenges presented by intentional and unplanned transitions.
Areas of specialization include: Alcohol and Substance Abuse, Mood Disorders including Depression, Anxiety and Social Phobia, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Early Trauma, Codependency, Marital and Family Therapy and Counseling and Life Coaching related to Life Stage Transitions.
