Hi! I’m Sharon (aka Dr. B), owner of Verdant Counseling. I work with moms, dads, teens and college students who deal with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. This might look like crying all the time, inability to get things done, and struggling to get through the day let alone find joy in life. In therapy I help people find better ways to cope, connect with internal and external strengths they didn’t realize they had, and find ways to make things work for them.
There is nothing more healing than being seen and heard. I create a space for people to talk about their life challenges and I teach people practical skills that increase their ability to cope. I have advanced training in maternal mental health care and working with trauma including birth trauma, childhood trauma, relational abuse and more.

We will work together to explore your feelings, make sense of your experiences, and develop strategies for emotional well-being.
