Greetings! My name is Sharon Badon and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Louisiana. My clinical approach to therapy is person-centered, and I my therapeutic approach in session is multidimensional. I am here to empower and encourage my clients to prioritize their well-being. I am also here to listen, reflect, and to provide constructive feedback.
I believe the individual will steer the direction of therapy and find self-discovery through therapeutic guidance, encouragement and support.
During the first session with a client I typically complete a behavioral health assessment, a patient health questionnaire (PHQ-9) and a Generalized Anxiety questionnaire )GAD-7. I also incorporate Crisis Planning with my Clients to ensure adequate coping skills and supports are in place.
