Life isn't always easy. At times, things just don't seem right or the way that we would like for them to be. Life can be frustrating, overwhelming, complicated and down-right messy. It is during these difficult seasons that Sharmen would like to come alongside you and offer strength, hope and encouragement within the confines of a safe and therapeutic environment. She is dually licensed and offers counseling services to clients in Tennessee as well as Alabama. It is her mission to serve you with dignity, respect and confidentiality while helping you to reach and surpass the treatment goals you develop together.

Sharmen is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Ketamine Integration Therapist. She is currently working towards earning her Certified Eating Disorder Specialist credential. Sharmen has over 16 years of clinical experience helping clients with substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma and PTSD.

Sharmen is a member of the Alabama Alcohol & Drug Abuse Association, International Consortium of Alcohol & Drug Counselors, and the International Association of Trauma Professionals.

Online College Boot Camp Experience for Females

College Boot Camp is offered in the Fall and Spring Semesters for current female college students aged 18-25. It is a one hour/week, eight week long therapy group, designed to give students that extra confidence and motivation to help them excel in all areas of higher education. In this group, we cover several relevant topics in depth and with transparency. This boot camp is designed to give young women the extra support needed to help them be successful in a college setting. Limited capacity, call for details. Group will be held online.
