I am a Licensed Psychologist offering services that may meet your needs. If you are dealing with tough life problems, mental illness, grief, or temporary distress- individual therapy might be the way to go. We will work to enhance your self discovery and receive guidance and support in changing your life situation. My previous patients have spoken about increased clarity, better relationships & work, improved decision-making skills, and enhanced coping skills. Children who I have worked with have increased their understanding of changes in their families, have learned to use support networks, and have had greater use of healthy outlets.
During therapy, I will support you in becoming more balanced by using a variety of evidenced-based techniques mostly based off of cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and some psychodynamic theories. For younger children, there is an emphasis on play & sensory therapies. Couple and family counseling is also offered utilizing similar techniques.
Based on my varied experiences, I utilize approaches that are individualized specifically for each patient. My greatest goal is to support the adjustment of individuals so that they can live more fulfilled lives. My greatest gift is being able to connect with others and helping my patients find their voice.
