I am dually licensed as an LCSW and LADC to practice in the states of Connecticut and Indiana. I focus primarily on client-centered therapy, to meet my patients where they are, in a conversational way, to encourage engagement and build rapport throughout treatment for the most beneficial outcome(s). Theoretical approaches include: Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Family Systems Therapy, Humanistic Patient Centered Therapy, and Psychodynamic approaches. My work with diverse populations has afforded me a well-rounded practice serving individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and children who struggle with anxiety, depression, peer/work/school conflict, family/ marital conflict, crisis intervention, bullying, and behavioral issues of concern, substance use/ abuse and life transitions.
In my practice, I use a conversational approach to meet each person where they are at the present moment in a non-judgmental, open-minded, and accepting environment. My clients are treated with respect and compassion and are encouraged to put themselves where they want to be.
