"Contacting a therapist for the first time can be uncomfortable regardless of the challenges you may be facing. I am here to help!! " I specialize in working with adolescents, teens and families, in addition to working with couples and individuals. I believe the foundation of therapy is to develop a safe and trusting relationship. Because each client is unique and has their own story, I strive to understand my clients in the context of their psychological, physical and spiritual background. Together we will create a treatment plan that is tailored to meet your needs, hopes and desired goals.
My passion is working with teens, individuals, families and couples. In addition to my diverse experience working with clients, I have been married for 31 years and am the mother of 3. These life experiences are helpful in bringing a level of understanding and insight to my clients. Additional specialties: Trauma informed parenting, Mindfulness CBT.
I specialize in working with individuals couples and families that have experienced Trauma, PTSD and Family Relational issues. My approach is client centered and strength based. I often use art and sand tray therapy when working with my clients. I am an approved Clinical Supervisor of LMFT and LPC interns.

I have had the privilege of working with Shari for over 4 years and have seen the amazing work she does with traumatized teens, adult individuals and their families. She is empathic, caring, nurturing and supportive. Shari's energetic personality is contagious and she helps others see the hope and opportunities that may have been overshadowed by pain and challenges.
