Life's journey often leads us through challenging terrain. As a therapist, I recognize that chronic stress, burnout, and trauma are common companions on this path. Rather than personal failures, they represent our body's natural defenses. My purpose is to help individuals find their way back - to reconnect, heal, and thrive. I provide EMDR therapy, a powerful tool for processing trauma and promoting well-being.
The fundamentals of mindfulness and attachment theory, and an understanding of the nervous system's natural wisdom are central to my work. I am a proponent of the health at every size approach, incorporating a holistic view of health and supporting a sense of peace with food and our bodies to help guide you towards greater bio-psycho-social wellness.
I value greatly the therapeutic relationship co-created with each client and strive for a warm, trusting partnership that supports the ability to be direct with each other. I offer a calm presence and the ability to sit with the big feelings that arise while doing this powerful work. I deeply appreciate the opportunity to see the world through your eyes.
