I’m Sharane Leabough, an LCSW Supervisee with over 6 years of experience. I have worked with children and their families in both mental health and child welfare capacities. My specialization includes serving individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, child therapy, coping skills, family conflict, and career-related stress. I am particularly eager to work with pre-teens, teenagers, and adults who are ready to engage in the therapeutic relationship. I also welcome the opportunity to work with children and their families.
I obtained my Master's degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. I incorporate multiple modalities when serving clients, including (CBT), solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. Additionally, I emphasize compassion & integrate emotional, faith-based, and culturally sensitive approaches.
I enjoy collaborating with clients to identify their needs and goals, and I am committed to being present for them through each stage of the therapy process. I believe it is essential to recognize that clients are the experts in their own lives, and I am ready to help them identify solutions to overcome their current struggles.
