I support a range of issues in therapy, and much of my work centers around reproductive mental health, including supporting people around pregnancy and birth, and through high risk pregnancy, birth trauma, the postpartum period and parenting, pregnancy loss (miscarriage, stillbirth, and termination for medical reasons, or TFMR), infertility and families built through Assisted Reproductive Technology (e.g. IVF), PGT, third-party reproduction (e.g. egg donation, sperm donation, embryo donation, and surrogacy), adoption, and fertility preservation. I welcome people representing diverse backgrounds, identities, and family structures.
I provide assessment, short-term and long-term psychotherapy, counseling, and coaching for adults struggling with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, relationships, career and social pressures, and life transitions. I actively support LGBTQIA individuals and families, single parents and parents-to-be, and families built without children.
My therapeutic style is warm, active, and down to earth. I also teach educational workshops, run trainings, give talks, and provide consultation in reproductive mental health. From 2016-2018, I served on the faculty at Teachers College, Columbia University, where I built and taught a master's level course on perinatal mental health.
