Discovering the story of your heart and listening to the telling of your story is my passion. My goal is to provide a safe healing space for you in a caring and inviting environment. I have often found that it is in this safe place that my client is able to share the difficult pieces of his or her story for the first time. As we work together we will discover hope, healing, and freedom from deep emotional wounds both past and present.
I work with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, past or present abuse of all kinds, PTSD, and identity issues. For clients who have concerns about their spiritual life, I integrate a solid psychotherapeutic approach into an in-depth exploration of their spirituality.
My practice is unique because I co-counsel with Carolyn Newman (see her listing): we are both in sessions with our clients. Client issues are multi-faceted: by working together we see those issues from different perspectives and are able to offer a wider range of insight to the client.
