About
As a mental health professional, I help individuals, couples, and families engage in some of life’s most difficult conversations. I am a PhD student in Social Psychology and currently working towards my licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner (LSATP) as well as certification as a Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-II) for the state of Virginia. I have 8 years of experience in both community-based and non-profit sectors along with 1 year of experience working in private practice.
I use a holistic approach in working with individuals, couples, and families to navigate the multiplicity of challenges that arise in life - depression, anxiety, substance use, dual diagnosis, or other major life struggles, all while employing mindfulness, acceptance and commitment methods in helping you achieve your goals for personal growth and wellbeing.
Reaching out displays strength and hope, and as a mental health provider, I will meet you where you are to provide you with the necessary skills to aid you on your journey. You are welcomed to call or email to schedule a free consultation to discuss if I am the right fit for your journey.
