I am a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT). Prior to becoming licensed, I have worked in the social services field, assisting ex-offenders to reintegrate back into the community and make prosocial changes in how they think, as well as their behavior. In doing so, I use therapeutic techniques (such as Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral interventions) to reduce clients' resistance towards change and address antisocial cognitions that are barriers to their success in adapting new prosocial cognitions and behavior.
As an LCMFT I now provide a wide range of services such as mental health therapy, marriage and family counseling, couples counseling, individual counseling, and workshops. My preferred treatment modality is Narrative Therapy but also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Life can be very unpredictable and can present a number of obstacles that challenge your ability to reach your desired outcome. Although challenged with these obstacles, they can be overcome. By using a client-centered approach, we can work together to address those problem areas and rebuild them into something that you are content with.
