Welcome! I want to congratulate you on taking the initiative to start a new journey in your life. This chapter of your life may be a difficult one. However, by you being here, you are demonstrating that you are ready for a change, and I am so excited to walk with you on this journey! I am focused on a comprehensive approach to mental health - meeting each client where they are on their road to self-discovery and empowerment. Together, we begin the work to process past traumas, identify current stressors, and highlight strengths.
We move towards identifying healthy, creative, and adaptive ways to cope, with the purpose of helping clients experience a sense of relief and recovery. I utilize Solution-Focused techniques, the Gottman Method, CBT, and mindfulness.
My experience has provided me the ability to work with clients who suffer from a variety of different issues, which include Substance Use Disorders, depression, Women's Issues, Relationship issues, Pre/Postnatal Stress, Anxiety, and Grief and Loss. I was also a military spouse, so I understand Military Culture and the stressors that accompany it.
