I am a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate under the supervision of Dr. Richard Bishop, LMFT-S, LPC-S. I have worked with children, adolescents, individuals, and couples using a “here and now” approach. I conduct therapy around this truth. The past has already happened and I cannot change it other than to reflect on it in order to bring change through awareness. The future has not happened yet and I have limited control. What I can control are the choices I make currently that can lead to the desired outcome. By focusing on the “here and now” we create awareness, taking control of our own life. Teamwork leads to desired goals
I have experience working with individuals, couples, adolescents, children, and the LGBTQ+ community on many different issues through two different universities. I have worked with clients on relationship problems, anxiety, depression, sexuality, self-esteem, boundaries, mindfulness practices, life transitioning issues, and self-acceptance.
I became a therapist out of a desire and passion for helping others. I love watching my clients as they find the power within them to achieve their goals, overcome obstacles and live a happy healthy life.
